If you are interested in owning a website for your business, but are unclear about where to start, I suggest that you take the minimum step of registering your Domain Name (www.YourCompany.com) and posting a Starter or "Business Card" page.

One of the great advantages of starting this way (if you're unsure where to start), is that you gain an appreciation for what the web can do for you. It also presents an opportunity to learn and better understand the process and the advantages to having a web presence.

If you already own your domain name, why not replace your "under construction" page with a simple page that contains a paragraph or two about your firm, a picture and contact information. Take a look at this example site that give you some samples.
